Learning Groups Volunteer CRC Information

Thank you for your willingness to volunteer in a Learning Camp or Community Connections with Heritage Christian Online School. As per Ministry of Education requirements, all staff and volunteers (of all ages) must have a current, cleared Criminal Record Check on file with the school prior to working/volunteering with any of our student programs.

If you will be receiving payment, please contact the Coordinator of the event, following which you will be contacted to proceed with your CRC Clearance via an alternate process.

**Please note, this is NOT your CRC application which must be completed online.

Following submission of this form, if completing a volunteer or share CRC application, you will receive an email from lg@onlineschool.ca with instructions to proceed online with your CRC Application. Once you have completed the application online, please email lg@onlineschool.ca with the provided Service Number. If a BC Certified Teacher, your information will be verified.

Indicates you have a current CRC under category "Children and Vulnerable Adults", which has been processed by the Ministry of Public Safety, for another organization and wish to share it with HCOS. RCMP clearance is NOT able to be used by HCOS.

During the course of your volunteering activity you may have access to information of a confidential nature. This could be as simple as having access to student information, observations or overheard conversations. All information relating to individual students is considered private and confidential, must not be disclosed to third parties and should only be shared with HCOS staff who have a need to know. If you have seen or recieve information which raises a concern to you (for example, a child protection issue), share this with HCOS personnel such as your coordinator or LG RA.
